Jason Andrew Schlosser left us too soon at the age of 31 on April 13th, 2014. He passed away peacefully doing something he loved on a beautiful, sunny day in North Carolina. He was born on May 28th, 1982 in Goshen, Indiana to Nelson Schlosser and Denise ( Kwilinski) Schlosser. He resided in High Point, NC and is survived by his wife, Renee Schlosser, and their two dogs and two cats. He is survived by both parents, sisters Kina, Drue, Sigrid, Rebecca, and Alyssa and brother Kurt. Jason attended Concord High School in Elkhart, IN, received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, and earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jason was employed at RFMD as a Product Marketing Manager and traveled extensively for business. He loved to explore new places, run, hike, camp, cycle, and spend time with his family. Jason truly was a person of purpose and strove to be present and engaged in life. His sense of humor was always “on” and he loved making people laugh. His positivity and courage influenced everyone he met. Jason was a very caring and thoughtful husband, son, brother, and friend. He will be missed but continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He continually worked to better himself and spoke often of Aristotle and the pursuit of virtue. "Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." -Aristotle The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Guilford County Animal Shelter at www.adoptshelterpets.org
