Mrs. Lib Wood Shufelt

                 Mrs. Frances Elizabeth “Lib” Wood Shufelt, 92, resident of High Point, died April 22nd, 2014 at Westchester Manor.
Mrs. Shufelt was born January 20th, 1922 in Guilford County, a daughter to the late Joseph F. and Annie E. Tinsley Wood.  A resident of this area most of her life, she was a member of Oak View Baptist Church and retired in 1985 from Top Supplies, the company she founded with her husband in 1965.
Surviving is a son, John Ray Shufelt and wife Peggy of High Point; a daughter, Joan Elizabeth Baker and husband Homer of High Point; four grandchildren, Angie Stewart, John Shufelt, Katie Whitesell and husband Chris and Fleming Shufelt; and four great grandchildren, Gracie Whitesell, Lilly Whitesell, Lizzie Whitesell and Dugan Stewart.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Herbert Shufelt in 1996 and her brother, Joseph Fleming Wood Jr.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. Don Duncan officiating.  Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Women On Missions at Oak View Baptist Church, 810 Oakview Rd. High Point, NC 27265.
