So sorry we were away the last week and didn't learn about Alice until today. Alice was indeed a fine, sweet lady. She was also a wonderful cook , a great mother and loved her family and friends. Our prayer are with you.

Jana, Allison and Richard,
May God grant you great patience and strength to get you all through this time. Your mom was an amazing woman who touched all those around her with her thoughtfulness and gentle soul. She truly was the love of Dad's life, and it comforts me to know that they are now together. The sound of her voice and laughter will always remain with me. I am truly so sorry for the loss of your mom, yet I am grateful for the time I knew her, and the wonderful stories she told of growing up in North Carolina. It is said "that a life that touches others, will go on forever." This can truly be said of your mom. With much love,

I will always cherish our conversations and memories of laughter. I have a few memories that come to mind the moment I think of you and one, is when you and Grandpa Bill came to visit us and we celebrated Cinco De Mayo in Old Town San Diego. We were out to eat and the festivities were so fun and you insisted that Amy and I dance with you. Grandpa sat back and took pictures. It was so much fun. Another memory is the conversation that you and my Grandma Cecilia had with me and the advise that you both insisted I always remember. Those words have helped mold me to the woman and mother I am today. I love you Grandma Alice and I will miss seeing that beautiful smile. Dance in the heavens and enjoy the party as you are reunited with Grandpa. You will always be in our hearts and the legacy you leave here on earth will remind us. I love you!
