I met Barbara through my mom many years ago at North State Telephone Company. She and several other ladies would work together to put on bridal showers and baby showers for the children of employees. I am one of those that benefited from her expertise, as she threw a bridal shower and a baby shower for me. Everything was perfect, because she would accept nothing less. The love that she had for those around her showed in what she did. Her compassion and wit will be greatly missed. My prayers will go out to her family for peace and comfort.
