Bobbie Allred White

Mrs. Bobbie Allred White, 80, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017.  She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Robert White.

Mrs. White was born on February 28, 1936, in High Point, a daughter of the late Robert Allred and Thelma Hill Allred.  She was the former treasure for Hughes-Rankin Company and was named Woman of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association.  She was a member of Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church.

Mrs. White is survived by her children, Kenneth Scott White (Jeanette) of High Point, and Cherie Crosby (Robert) of Chapin, SC; grandchildren,  Sean Crosby (Liz), Brittany Oclon (Mick), Marissa White, Alexander White, and Jenna White; great grandchildren, Ben Oclon and Link Crosby; siblings, Gayle Fulk (Gary), Candi Davis (Jim), Tom Allred (Susan), and Mike Allred (Elaine); and much loved in-laws, Barbara Thomas (Jack), Nancy White, Calvin White and Sandy Honeycutt (Don).

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Benjamin Crosby.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church with Reverent Matt Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive, High Point.
