Bobby O. "Bob" Ryals

Trinity- Bobby O. “Bob” Ryals, 86, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

He was born on November 6, 1930 in Erwin, NC to the late Lester and Carrie Cox Ryals. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean War. A resident of this area most of his life, he was a retired employee of Electronic Data Magnetics and he attended Trindale Community Church.  Bob enjoyed spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were a son, Mark Ryals; a grandson, Matthew Ryals; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife of 61 years, Shirley West Ryals; his son, Craig (Patricia) of Archdale; daughter in law, Cathy of High Point; his brother, Al Ryals; his grandchildren, Randy, Jared, Amanda and Brooke.

A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Monday, October 2, at 2 pm, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Pastor David Perry and Pastor Ottis Collins officiating. Interment with Military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Monday, from 12:45 until 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
