Brian Michael Raby

ARCHDALE-Brian Michael Raby, 37, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

He was born on August 21, 1980 in High Point, to Tony Lee and Lynn Barbee Raby. A resident of this area all of his life, he was a 1998 graduate of Trinity High School, and he was employed with Bath Fitters in Kernersville. Brian enjoyed baseball, working out, fishing, dancing, walking, and playing corn hole. He was an avid Tarheel fan.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle and he will be dearly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Kerri Tate Raby; his children, Bailey Taylor and Chance Grogan; his mother, Lynn Barbee Jessup and her husband Chuck; his father, Tony Lee Raby, Sr., and his wife Kim; his brothers, Tony Lee Raby, Jr., and his wife Amy and Curtis Jessup and his wife Jennie; his sisters, Kristina Ficquette and her husband Arnold and Allison Freitas and her husband Gary. Also surviving are 5 nieces and 2 nephews.

A service to celebrate Brian’s life will be held on Saturday, October 21, at 2 pm, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Pastor Fredie Meadows officiating. A second celebration of his life will follow at Creekside Park, under the large shelter.  His family will receive friends on Saturday, from 12:45 until 1:45 pm at the funeral home.
