David Paul Anglin

ARCHDALE-David Paul Anglin, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

His beloved parents are Maggie and John Anglin. He was born in Tucson, AZ, but spent his youth growing up in Bristol, England. As an adult he returned to his cherish homeland to fulfill his dreams, making North Carolina his home. He worked at Thomas Built Buses for 20 years, and his numerous accomplishments revealed his determination, passion and kindness. His keen sense of humor made him so much more especial, never a dull moment! He was a sport aficionado; he played rugby as teen, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. A voyager at heart, he enjoyed the sunny beaches, mountain retreats and world-wide cuisine. David was a caring loving son; he never missed a day calling his parents. He treasured his special connection with his son Michael, fun, loving, thoughtful, devoted… making him a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory; are his wife, Susana; his son, Michael; his parents, John and Maggie; his brother, John; his sister, Jackie; mother in-law Martha; father in-law Roberto and all his extended family from England and Mexico.

A service to celebrate David’s life will be held on Friday, August 11, at 6 pm, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. The family will receive friends following the service until 8 pm.
