Debora Lee (Ussery) Surratt

Mrs. Debora Lee Ussery Surratt, 56, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born April 26, 1961, in High Point, Debora was the daughter of Tommy and Pricilla “Pat” Hedgecock Ussery. Her father preceded her in death. Debora was retired from Wal Mart where she worked as a sales associate at the South Main Street store in High Point. She enjoyed going to the beach, crocheting, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Pricilla “Pat” Ussery, of Archdale, two daughters, Tammy Borsos and husband, Matt, of Wauseon, OH, and Crystal Swistak and husband, Brandon, of Thomasville; a son, Donald Tucker and wife, Christy, of High Point; and eleven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018 in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Bill V. Barnes. The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
