Eva King Kochuba

Eva King Kochuba, 95, of High Point, passed away March 23, 2017, at the Hospice Home at High Point.  She was born May 23, 1921, in Patrick County, VA, to the late Nathan and Alice Goins King.  Eva was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and was their official Banana Pudding Maker.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include her daughter, Jewel Miller and husband D.K. Miller, Jr.; two grandsons, Kirk Miller and Dee Miller and wife Scott Miller; and three great grandchildren, Reid, Maggie and Addison Miller.  She was preceded in death by her son, James Clayton Robertson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Rev. Daniel E. Pittman, II, officiating.  Entombment will follow at Oakwood Mausoleum.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
