Hayne was the reason I made the decision to make the US Army a career. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to visit with him several times in the past year and thank him for his influence.
May God provide solace and blessings to Hayne's family now and in the future.

Uncle Hayne,

I just wanted to say thanks for the time we had together when I was a young man. You were part of my life and I appreciate what you did for me during my early teens providing me a place to live..food and money as well as a education in art and other things I still apply today!
