J.C. Lowe

Mr. J.C. Lowe, 64, of Sophia, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at his residence.

Born August 14, 1952, in Alleghany County, J.C. was the son of the late Leonard and Marie Vaughn Lowe. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bill Lowe. J.C. was retired from Martin Marietta, and enjoyed going on fishing trips to the beach with his brothers. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed putting model cars together.

J.C. is survived by his wife, Christine Robinson Lowe; two daughters, Diane Lowe and Dixie Lowe; four step-sons, John Parrish, Brian Parrish, Nolan Parrish and David Parrish; a brother, Jerry Lowe; two sisters, Bonnie Brandon and husband, Roy, and Bernice Tabor; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel at Randolph Memorial Park Cemetery.
