Jamie Lynette Hucks

TRINITY- Jamie Lynette Hucks, 53, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017.

She was born on September 23, 1964 in Davidson County, daughter of the late Mark William and Bobbie Sue Carrick Shankle. A resident of this area all of her life she had worked for Jowat for 24 years and she attended Bethany Baptist Church in Thomasville. Jamie never met a stranger and she was always making friends. She enjoyed working, cooking, going on cruises, camping and fishing; especially cat fishing.  Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and she will be dearly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 22 years, Cray Hucks; her daughter, Heather Marion and her husband Drake; her brother Tony “Bubby” Carrick, and her granddaughter, Carly Marion.

A service to celebrate Jamie’s life will be held on Thursday, October 19, at 3 pm, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Tom Fields officiating. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 18, from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
