Jeremy Keith Byrd

Jeremy Keith Byrd, 42, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017 at the Hospice Home at High Point.

Jeremy was born December 6, 1974 in Guilford County to Jerry Wayne Byrd and Brenda George Byrd.   He was raised in the High Point community and attended Andrews High School where he played soccer and varsity tennis.                              

Jeremy was known as a man who was humble and had a big, kind heart.  He was known as being dependable and hardworking especially as he worked at Garfield’s for 8 years and at Food Lion for 10 years.  He learned to enjoy golfing in his free time.  Jeremy will be missed very much by family and friends.

In addition to his parents Jeremy will be remembered by his grandmother, Joan George, Aunts, Uncles and several Cousins.

There will be a service of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point, officiated by Rev. Gerald Shean. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro.

The family will received friends on Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to: Boys and Girls Club of Greater High Point P.O. Box 2834 High Point, NC 27261.
