Jessie C. Perkins Sr.

Jessie Carlisle Perkins, Sr. of High Point, NC passed away from complications from surgery on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the age of 74.

Jessie was born March 14, 1943 in Laurinburg, NC son of the late Carlisle and Beatrice Mumford Perkins.

He was preceded in death by his third wife, Doris Ann Martin; brothers, Henry Perkins of Winston Salem, Ernest Perkins of Greensboro, Bobby Perkins of Laurinburg, Vester Perkins of Greensboro, Dawson Perkins of Liberty.

He is survived by his brother, Lindsey Perkins of Laurel Hill, children; Becky P. Lee and husband Tim of Concord,  Michelle P. Hildreth and husband Chuck of Stanly; Jessie Carlisle Perkins, Jr of Sanford; Jessica P. Cox and husband Ron of Sanford; grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Jessie had a strong work ethic and enjoyed servicing customers, many who became friends through his work with High Point Tree Service, and Perkins Tree & Stump Removal of High Point, NC.

Jessie Perkins will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. The family is grateful for the condolences, but declines flowers and donations.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
