This is the day that Paw Paw left us for his next great adventure. He is sorely missed. He is in the loving arms of the Lord now and reunited with his beloved Ellie. His legacy lives on in me as I plan to continue to plant flowers and vegetables the way he taught me. But he taught me more than horticulture. And more than his teachings, he gave me unconditional love. I think of him often and miss him, and hope to see him and Eleanor again someday.

I am one who knew Mr. Linder from the farmers' market on Hamilton Street. I enjoyed seeing him each week and to see what delicious food offerings he would have for market. He even invited me to his house once to get some bulbs of some stinky plant. He was an interesting and enjoyable person. I only just today saw the notice of his passing and wanted you to know one more person enjoyed a small part of his time on earth. I'm sure you miss him greatly.

Dear family, John was a very kind, authentic
person. We corresponded some after condolences for Eleanor's death. He will be sorely missed.

Mr. Linder was such a nice man. We enjoyed getting vegetables, fruit and honey from him. I also enjoyed getting the persimmon pulp from his wife. They were a precious couple.
