Mrs. Lake Atra Frazier Williard, 90, resident of High Point, died April 15, 2017 at Westchester Manor.

Mrs. Williard was born July 15, 1926 in Guilford County, a daughter to the late Lela Ford York Frazier and Joe White Frazier Sr.  She was a resident of this area all her life and the Deep River community since 1946 when she married her husband and childhood sweetheart, Jacob Horace Williard.  Lake enjoyed traveling with Horace, driving together across the United States and taking cruises….her favorites being to Alaska and the Panama Canal.  She also loved nature, butterflies, rainbows and working on photo albums, most recently completing her 87th!  Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and supporting her husband and sons as they operated their family business, J.H. Williard and Sons Dairy.

Surviving is her son, DeVane Horace Williard and wife Sherie of Randleman; her brother, Conrad (Connie) Frazier and wife Shirley of High Point; four grandchildren, Chris Williard and wife Laura, Brian Williard and girlfriend Cindy, Lance Williard and wife Brandie, and Erica Williard and wife Jennifer Brinson; six great grandchildren, Kacey, Ashtyn, Caitlin, Alyssa, A.J. and Ford Williard; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Williard of High Point; a special niece, Paulette R. Bull; and a special sister-in-law, Becky Williard Grubb.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2003; her son, Kendall Frazier Williard in 2017; three sisters, Pearl F. Rayle, Cleo F. Robinson and Violet F. Fuller; a brother, J.W. Frazier Jr. and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Williard Maness.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Parkwood Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Rev. Daniel Pittman officiating.  Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Parkwood Baptist Church, 2107 Penny Rd. High Point, NC, 27265.
