Linda W. Price

HIGH POINT- Linda W. Price, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

She was born on September 17, 1941 in High Point, daughter of the late James Walser and Juanita Walter. A resident of this area all of her life, she was a homemaker and was a member of Gospel Baptist Church. At her church, she was a member of the Adult Sunday school class. Linda loved her church, going to the beach, cooking and baking. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family; especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death was a brother Jimmy Walser.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband of 56 years, Leyon Price of the home; her daughter, Karen Mozingo and her husband Dean of Archdale; her sons, Jerry Price and his wife Karen of Sophia and Michael Price and his wife Christine of Lexington; her brother, Larry Walser and his wife Carmen of Gastonia. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, at 12 noon, at Gospel Baptist Church, with Pastor Stephen Hill officiating.  Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
