My thoughts and prayers go out to you all during this sad time. LuEllen was a friend of mine from high school, and we shared some great memories during our four years together. She was with me and a few others in the 9th grade when we went to see Elton John in Greensboro for the first time! We also had a lot of fun in band together! We went our separate ways after school, but I know the lives that she touched were left better from knowing her...Mine was!

I worked with LuEllen in Randolph County Schools while she was a Program Facilitator. She was a dear friend and always had a smile and a kind word to share when we would cross paths at the office. She was great at what she did and worked so hard to help the teachers and students that she cared so deeply for even when she was not feeling her best . She was a true inspiration to every one ! She will be missed by so many who were blessed to know her. May God bring peace to your family and wrap you in His love.
