Michelle Marie (Akers) Fowler

THOMASVILLE – Michelle Marie Akers Fowler, 48, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at her residence.

She was born November 30, 1968, in Toledo, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late James “Jim” and Joan Poupard Sexton.  She attended High Point Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Fowler II whom she married on September 13, 2014; a daughter, Ashley Devoe (Ryan); two sons, Michael D. Dyke III (Saraih) and Aaron Dyke (Jewel), all of Florida; two sisters, Della Archambo (Karl Foster) of Winston-Salem and Paula Sheppard (John) of Florida; parents-in-law, Bobby and Wanda Fowler of Archdale; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service celebrating Michelle’s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 15, 2017, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with the Rev. Audie Tucker officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
