Mrs. Mildred Frances Inman Medina, 91, resident of Trinity, died April 18, 2017 at Hospice Home at High Point.
Mrs. Medina was born June 29, 1925 in Rockingham County, a daughter to the late William A. and Katie Jones Simpson Inman. She was a resident of High Point since 1945 and also a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She had a sassy personality with a signature smile who loved knitting, crochet, playing Uno and most importantly, caring for her family. On September 12, 1943 she married Paul Medina who preceded her in death in 1989. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Ted Medina in 2010 and nine siblings.
Surviving are four children, Joyce Davis of Winston-Salem, Jean Hobbs and husband Harold of Trinity, James Medina and wife Edwina of Charleston, SC and Joe Medina and wife Kay of Birmingham, AL; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Reverend Thomas P. Norris, O.S.F.S., officiating. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
