Richard Lee Lawrence

Mr. Richard Lee Lawrence, 86, formerly of High Point, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner.

Born August 19, 1930 in Guilford County, Richard was the son of the late Ressie and Annie Miller Lawrence. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Kenneth Lawrence. Richard had been a resident of the Parkview Cottage at the Murdoch Center since 1995.

Survivors include his brother, Coy Ray Lawrence; nephew, Lonnie Lee Hollifield; two nieces, Shirley Jean Turner and Wanda Hancock; and great nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Country Holiness Cemetery in Randleman, officiated by Rev. Joseph Long. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6 until 8 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
