Robert Lee Meredith

Mr. Robert Lee Meredith, 80, of High Point, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

Born August 19, 1937, in Randolph County, Robert was the son of the late David and Maude Estelle Younts Meredith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Mitchell Dinkins, and seven siblings. Robert was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and was retired from Adams Millis Hosiery. He enjoyed fast cars, bluegrass music, dancing, and was especially fond of the ladies.

He is survived by Rachel Leigh Dinkins, Bonnie Baker and husband, Ricky; four grandchildren, Alicia Sparrow and husband, Wendell, Tonya Davis and husband, Shane, David Dinkins and wife, Melissa, and Crystal Smith and husband, Timothy; and 14 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Randy Austin and Rev. Bobby Loving. The family will receive friends follow in the memorial service.
