Russell Webster

HIGH POINT- Russell Webster, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He was born on May 6, 1959, in Guilford County, a son of the late Arthur and Judy Overby Webster. A resident of this area all his life, he retired from Stickley Furniture and was a member of The Way Fellowship of the Triad in Kernersville. He loved his church, where he was active with the children’s ministry. Russell enjoyed the outdoors, especially deer hunting. He was an avid sports fan; particularly watching Duke basketball and he enjoyed making people smile. His true love and passion was spending time with his Lord and his family; especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as Christian man who was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife; Lori Morrison - Webster; his son, Rusty Webster (Heather); his brothers, Terry Webster (Phyllis) and John Webster and his sisters, Lisa Hager and Teresa Hutchens; Also surviving are his granddaughters, Lily and Ava; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Russell’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. The committal service will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. His family will receive friends from 12:45 - 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
