Sum Van

Mr. Sum Van passed away on April 15, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center after battling liver cancer.  Born in Vietnam on October22, 1956 he came to the United States on April 8, 1987 to start a new life. He was a hard-working man and was employed at Jack Cartwright Furniture Company for 8 years. He always made sure to provide for his family and helped many people any way he could.

 He is survived by his four daughters: Binh, Hanh, April, and Apple, all of High Point, NC. two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services for Mr. Van will be held 9:00 am Thursday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, High Point with the Reverend Paul Cao officiating.  The family will greet friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
