I am so sorry about the lost of your Father, Grandfather, and Father-in -Law. I had the opportunity to meet this great man who lived his life to the fullest. He spoke with great wisdom and insight on just having fun and living. He had a beautiful smile and was a joy to serve each day he was in my presence. I will miss you dearly Walt.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Dave,
I am sorry about your father. I pray for you each day for comfort and healing. Remember the good memories and cherish them when they pop into your mind at different times. I always feel like this is my dad's soul touching me when it happens.

Walt was one of the first people I met after joining Hatteras in the Fall of 1972. I had no idea at the time, I would work with him in years to come at Trinity Ave and Kivett Drive. Walt was one of the most genuine, sincere people I've met in my life. When I saw him at the lunch reunion a few years ago, he looked his age but, his big smile and warm handshake were exactly as they were in 1972 (and well before that, I'm sure). Folks of Walt's caliber and graciousness are in big demand right now and, sadly, in very short supply. He will be missed not only by his family, but, all he touched in his time with us.

Walt was as pure as snow. He believed in HATTERAS YACHTS & made you feel the same way. He was one of my mentors for many years & even more so when I worked with him in the Customer Service Dept. as a Field Representative. Walt had respect for everyone, no matter what your job was. It was a pleasure to have known him & I told him so many times. He & I talked just 1 month ago about Hatteras, his wife recent passing & the good days. Walt, you helped to make me what I am today...Bruce Morrison...Beaufort, NC
