Walter was a true blessing and friend to those who had 5 minutes to meet him. Anyone he met was walking away a few minutes later with a smile on their face, a new friend for life, and convinced they had met the most happy-go-lucky man in the world. Walt's father Harold, was an amazing man, and I miss him greatly, but Walt also fell from the amazing tree and all of our lives will be a little less fun without him.

I was a client of Walter for over 20 years. But more importantly he was my friend. I would go and see him 2 or 3 times a year. I'm glad now I just went to see him in September. We would take care of business, but mostly just sit and talk about family, friends, hunting & fishing. Sure going to miss those chats. Our family wants to send our deepest condolences to the family and pray you get comfort in the coming days knowing Walter is in God's hands now.

I've known Walter since High School, and he was always cheerful and kind to everyone, with possible exception of opposing football players. His office is in the house I grew up in, and I remember the last time I saw him. I dropped by unexpectedly, and he dropped what he was doing to chat with me and let me walk all around the old home place to see what had become of it. He had left most of it intact, taken excellent care of it, and it was a great experience for me to walk through it and relive countless memories.
I'm grateful to this day for that experience and more so for 50+ years of friendship!
