Mrs. Hazel Irene McNeil

Hazel Irene McNeil, 97, of Kernersville went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 13, 2015.
Mrs. McNeil was born November 18, 1917 in Guilford County to the late Henry and Annie Welch Lee.  She was married to the late J. E. McNeil on June 2, 1934. Mrs. McNeil was a member of Northwood Methodist Church and a retired hosiery worker.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Eastchester.  Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
She is survived by one daughter Betty J. Jarvis of High Point, sisters Thelma Culler of High Point and Ruby Sherron of High Point ; one brother Henry “Buddy” Lee, Jr. and his wife Phyllis of High Point.  Other survivors include two grandchildren Kimberly Jarvis Shelton of Kernersville and Bobby Jarvis, Jr. of High Point; great-granddaughter Tiffany Shelton Bixby of McLeansville.
