Aggie (Wright) Nelson

Mrs. Bertha Agnes “Aggie” Wright Nelson, 91, resident of Jamestown, died June 4, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Nelson was born January 12, 1927 in Ocean County, New Jersey, a daughter to Harry and Mildred Estlow Wright.  She worked as a school bus driver in the Manchester Township of New Jersey and retired in 1992.  In 1994, she moved to North Carolina and later became a member of First Christian Church.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Bowker in 1960, her second husband, Ed Nelson in 2002, and her sister, Jean Albertson.

Surviving is her daughter, Susie Schuster and husband Ed of Greensboro; a brother, Richard Wright of Whiting, NJ; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
