Annalee Whitlow, 76, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Born in Urbana, Illinois on May 5th,1944, Anna was the daughter of the late Ruby and Charles Higgins. She married John Douglas "Doug" Whitlow on July 25, 1964 and settled in High Point. Anna was a devoted wife and homemaker and would later work in sales for Arthur Court Designs. Anna was especially fond of all her neighbors on Edgedale Drive whom she considered extended family. Anna was known for her beautiful smile, a true reflection of God's love. Her personality and love for life were contagious to anyone that knew her. In her own words, "Every day is a celebration."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 41 years, Doug Whitlow.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Todd Whitlow and his wife Linda; her daughter Andrea Mohan and her husband John; five grandchildren, Olivia Cashwell and her husband Carson, Austin Whitlow and his wife Holly, Jacob Mohan, Jarod Whitlow, and Grace Mohan; one great grandson, Wesley Cashwell, and a special companion, Jackson Foxworth.
A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 28th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church on 68, 300 NC-68, Greensboro, NC 27409. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC, 27262.
