Mrs. Annie Lou Burchette Sink Gann, 85, of High Point, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Westchester Manor.
Born September 6, 1933, in Surry County, Annie was the daughter of the late Edgar D. and Evie Mae McCarter Burchette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Sink and Billy Gann; son, Randy Sink; daughter, Cindy Sink Garner; sister, Edna Reagan; and three brothers, Sonny, Harold and Elzie Burchette.
Annie was a member of Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church and was retired from Black & Decker. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt, and will be truly missed.
Annie is survived by two granddaughters, Sara Garner Thompson (Zach), and Paige Garner; son-in-law, Brooks Garner; niece, Pat Simmons (Randy); and numerous other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special cousin, Norma Smith, and a special friend, Sandy Davis.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11th, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, in High Point officiated by Rev. Roger Carmichael. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
