Anthony Duane Stilley, 56, of Archdale pass away suddenly on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at WFBH-High Point Medical Center.
Tony was born in High Point on September 21, 1962 to James Franklin Stilley and Sara Elizabeth Upton Stilley. In addition to his parents he is survived by a son, Jeff Stilley of Trinity; daughter, Brittany Stilley of Wilmington; sisters, Jamie Stilley of Charlotte, Susan Stilley of Trinity; nieces Ashley Allen, Michelle Allen and Leslie Odell.
Tony was a loving son and father, who said “his greatest accomplishment in life was being a father.” In his childhood he was a cub scout and boy scout with Troop 38. He worked for Piedmont Packaging for the last 5 years and prior to that at Carolina Container for about 25 years. Tony was known for being a jokester, loving children, fishing and watching the History channel.
A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, 206 Trindale Road in Archdale. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Reverend Willie Murray will officiate the service and burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point.
