Audrey Ruth Davis

THOMASVILLE- Audrey Ruth Davis, 78, completed her life’s journey and went home to be with Jesus, Monday, February 15, 2021 at Thomasville Medical Center.

She was born February 5, 1943 in Thomasville, a daughter of the late Homer Odell and Lola Ruth Thornburg Davis. Audrey attended Garrell Street Baptist Church and retired from Grey Watkins, Ltd. She enjoyed reading, watching Ion TV, watching the Carolina Panthers play, and baking cakes. She loved daises, tulips and forget me nots.

Audrey is survived by her children Lori Rhodes of High Point, Angie Blackburn and husband, Bobby, of Linwood, Andrew Powers and wife, Renae, of Lexington and Roy Lowder and wife, Gayle, of Trinity; her sister, Paula Peace and husband, James, of Archdale; brother Steve Davis and wife, Doris, of Archdale; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, February 19, at 2 p.m., at Cumby Family funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Keith Letterman officiating.  Interment will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, from 12:00 -1:30 pm, at the funeral home.
