Austin Frank Wolfburg

Austin Frank Wolfburg was born on July 3rd, 1997, at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.  However, he lived in many places: Oregon, Georgia, Washington, Hawaii, and North Carolina.  He was the son of Frank and Mindy Wolfburg and brother of Hannah Wolfburg.  He was a 2015 graduate and honor roll student at Panther Creek High School.  Austin also graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2021 where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  He had just started his first accounting job with Red Classic located in Charlotte, NC.

Austin enjoyed sports and playing basketball and baseball.  He also enjoyed watching all major Boston sports teams especially the Boston Bruins, the Celtics, and the Boston Red Sox.  He was a huge movie buff, loved listening to music, and enjoyed playing video games.  He loved his dog, Bronco, who was his best buddy.  When Austin walked into a room, he would light it up with his beautiful smile and his beautiful smoky blue eyes.  He was intelligent, kind-hearted, witty, sarcastic, funny, fun-loving, and loved his family dearly.  He will be deeply missed and loved forever.  He will remain in our hearts forever as we will in his.

He is survived by his mother, Mindy Wolfburg, father, Frank Wolfburg, and sister, Hannah Wolfburg.  His loving relatives are his grandparents Sandy Scott, Frank Amthor, and Scott Kratovil; his aunts, Lori Garbacz and Dawn Falco, uncle, Morgan Kratovil, and cousins, Dane Kratovil, and Adam Kratovil; and his many close friends.

A celebration of Austin’s life will be held at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, NC on Sunday, November 21st at 2:00 pm.  The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
