Ava Lee Brown Osborne, 99, died Sunday, January 6, 2019, after a period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent G. Osborne, her son, Joel K. Osborne, and six brothers and sisters.
Ava is survived by her daughters, Joy Osborne, of Gaithersburg, MD, and Jackie Osborne, of High Point, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ava was born in Randolph County, the daughter of the late Rankin and Dora Brown. She was an employee of Burlington Mills and Rich Face Veneers.
A celebration of her life will be held later this spring. An announcement of those details will be made closer to the date of the service.
The family wishes to thank the Orr family, of Trinity, for their attention and care of Ava for many years. The family also wishes to thank her caregivers, Daphne Vanderhall, Pam Wideman, Carla Davis, Ophelia McLendon, Lashanda Peguese, Jasmine McLendon, Vanessa White, Brittany White, and Donica Turner, as well as her wonderful neighbors, Cricket Wallington and Napoleon Gainey for the care and support provided to Ava.
