Barbara Ann (Stoker) Lewallen

Barbara Ann Stoker Lewallen, 76, of High Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

Barbara was born in High Point on October 31, 1941 to the late Arnold Burrus Stoker and Doris Mina Duggins Stoker. 

Barbara truly loved her family.  Her grandchildren were the “apple of her eye” and she loved being their grandma.  She was strong in her Christian faith and attended Covenant Church United Methodist.  She worked for Piedmont Packaging for many years.

Those who will cherish her memories are her husband of 58 years, Jesse R. Lewallen; her sons, Brian K. Lewallen and wife, Abby of High Point, Scott Lewallen and wife, Kit of Trinity; brother, Edward Stoker of Ashville; grandchildren, Zack, Luke, Matthew and Jordan Lewallen.  Many dear friends will miss her deeply.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held 11:00am on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Covenant Church United Methodist,  1526 Skeet Club Road, High Point, North Carolina 27265.  The Reverend Michelle Foster-Beckerleg will officiate the service.    The family will greet friends at the conclusion of the service.
