Sorry for the loss of your loved one. John 5:28, 29 assures Jesus will restore life to those who has died. Revelation 21:3, 4 gives further assurance death will be swallowed up forever. This is a comforting thought knowing your loved one is in God's memory. Hope this brings comfort.

Bert was such a wonderful man. I worked on some patent litigation with him way back 25 years ago when I just got out of law school. I was a new trademark attorney and way over my head taking on a patent litigation project but Bert showed his confidence in my work and inspired me to take on the project. He had that way about him. He was gentle, kind and inspirational. He also helped me through some career situations which I will never forget how calm and reasonable he could be. He had that calmness that just lowered my stress level and guided me through some tough times. Shortly after I became a partner at Leydig, Bert retired and I was so sad to see him go but excited for his retirement. I always looked forward to his periodic trips back to the office.
Bert and Gina were so gracious to me and my husband when we were considering moving to Florida and partially responsible for us moving to Fort Myers, which we love so much. I am so sorry about his passing which is a great loss to all who knew him.
