Blanchette Lassiter Mitchell, 93, of High Point passed away peacefully into her Savior’s hands on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Westchester Harbour.
Blanchette was born in High Point on July 10, 1926 to the late William H. Lassiter and Maude Geddy Lassiter. She met the love of her life and future husband, Walter J. She especially enjoyed working with the women of the church to raise funds for those in need. A talented and caring homemaker, she loved cooking, shopping with her brother Bill and sister Sue, and caring for her family and friends. Her two grandsons were her pride and joy and they adored their “Mimi”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter J.
