Mr. Robert “Bobby” Lee Teer Jr., 72, resident of High Point, died November 30th, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital. Mr. Teer was born December 4th, 1941 in Guilford County, a son to the late Robert L. Teer Sr. and Doris Fulton Teer. A resident of this area all his life, he had worked at Thomas Built Buses and Keystone Automotive. He was an avid Duke fan and enjoyed coaching and playing softball for years. In 1958, he married the former Anne Ellington who survives of the residence. Also surviving are three sons, Jerry Teer and wife Debbie of High Point, Ed Teer and wife Cathy of Canada and Jim Teer of High Point; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Katrina)Teer, Brittany (Ryan) Rose, Emileigh (Jeffrey) Teer, Chris (Dinah) Teer, Wes (Jen) Teer and Aaron Teer; four great grandchildren, Raini, Mackenzie, Emma and Grayson; and a great granddog, Maggie. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Rev. David M. Emery officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the organization of the donor’s choice.
