Boyd "Bud" Andersen

Mr. Boyd “Bud” Loy Andersen, 78, died July 21, 2019 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Mr. Andersen was born May 22, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA, a son to the late Boyd and Betty Williams Andersen.  He grew up in LaCrescenta, CA and later moved to Simi Valley, CA where he lived twenty five years.  After retiring from Pacific Bell, he moved to the High Point, NC area where he’s lived the past twenty four years.  In 1963, he married the former Julia Padrick who survives of the residence.

Also surviving is his daughter, Christine Berrier and husband Terry of High Point; and son, Geoffrey Andersen of Thousand Oaks, CA.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, at his residence, 4236 Brentonshire Ln. High Point, NC, 27265.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr. High Point, NC, 27262 or to SPCA of the Triad, P.O. Box 4461 Greensboro, NC, 27404.
