Brenda Lee (Grizzelle) Eggers

Brenda Lee Grizzelle Eggers, 53, of High Point, died peacefully on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Hospice Home @ High Point after a short but courageous battle against pancreatic cancer.

Brenda was born July 3, 1964 in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky to James Robert Grizzelle and Marlene Violet Miller Grizzelle.  Brenda was preceded in death by a sister; Vonda Grizzelle and her fur baby; Deuce.

When not working her job as an Administrative Assistant at the High Point Regional Hospital or one of the many hospitals she worked at during the past 35 years, she enjoyed spending her time on crafts, such as; scrap booking, stained glass work and crocheting.  She was strong in her Baptist faith.

In addition to her many friends, Brenda will be missed most by the love of her life for 16 years, Greg Eggers, step-son; Cory Eggers of High Point, Sister and brother-in-law; Marla Grizzelle Miller and husband, Jim and their daughter, Sarah Miller of Florida and a special niece; Ashlea Ball Eakin and husband, Christopher of Kannapolis and her large, loving extended family.

A service to remember Brenda’s life will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point.  Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum Chapel at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

The family will have a time of receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the funeral home.
