ARCHDALE- Brenda Ann Myers Fields, 76, went Home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
She was born on April 24, 1947, in Guildford County, a daughter of the late James and Bessie Cox Myers. A resident of this area all her life, she retired from High Point Bank after 21 plus years of service and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling and being a member of several bowling leagues in the area. In her younger years she enjoyed playing several sports and excelled in them. She also enjoyed making people laugh, but her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a woman who was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her husband, Kenneth Fields, a son, Anthony Peele and a sister, Cindy Brown.
She is survived by her son, Andy Peele and his wife, Emily, her sisters, Shirley Myers and her husband, Kenneth and Sue Lanier and her husband, Randy. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Brenda’s life will be held on Wednesday morning, September 20, at 10:00 o’clock from the graveside in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor David Grinnell officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
