Brian Steven Barna

Brian Steven Barna, 69, of Greensboro, passed away October 6, 2018.  He was born August 18, 1949, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Walter William and Cecilia Frances Barna.  A graduate of UNC-Greensboro, Brian was an independent insurance adjuster before retiring.  He was of the Catholic faith. 

He is survived by his two sons, Chris Barna and Steven Barna (Heather); daughter, Christina Sisk (Marshall); two brothers, Dwight Barna (Ellen) and Christopher Barna (Kim Faber); three grandchildren, Isabelle Barna, Trey Brown and Hayleigh Sisk; and his beloved dog, Pete.

In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Courtney Leigh Barna.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, 1015 Eastchester Drive in High Point.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 12, 2018, at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N. O’Henry Blvd. in Greensboro with Father Joseph Mack officiating.
