Mrs. Caroline Marie Grondin Weaver, 83, resident of High Point, died August 3, 2019 at High Point Medical Center.
Mrs. Weaver was born January 4, 1936 in Seattle, WA, a daughter to the late Leon and Florence Annie Peterson Grondin. After moving to Idaho, she worked and later retired from Sargent Industries as a customer service manager. She also was a member of the U.S.M.C. Auxiliary League in Idaho and especially active in its “Toys for Tots” program. In 2010, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Madison Weaver, and, in 2011, moved to High Point, North Carolina.
Surviving is her son, Ronald “Ron” Pitts and wife Tina Cecil of High Point; and two granddaughters, Cecilia Marie Pitts and Julianne Faith Pitts. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
An interment will be held at a later date alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.
