Carolyn Tannis (Baldwin) Fowler

RANDLEMAN – Carolyn Tannis Baldwin Fowler, 80, died Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Randolph Hospice Home in Asheboro.

She was born February 18, 1943, in Richmond County and was the daughter of the late Clarence Dudley and Gladys Pearl Thompson Baldwin. She worked as a clerk and cashier with Hillsville Mini Mart for several years. Carolyn was an avid NASCAR racing fan, enjoyed fishing occasionally, and playing cards and games with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Junior Fowler; and three brothers, David Baldwin, Tony Baldwin and Dewey Baldwin.

She is survived by her daughters, Tasha Page (Justin) of Archdale and Dawn Fowler of South Carolina; step-daughter, Kristie Sutton (Michael); step-son, Dale Fowler (Ashley) both of Sophia; two grandchildren, Destiny Page and Nicholas Page; and sister, Eunice Wilson of Sophia.

The family will conduct a celebration of life service at a later date to be announced.
