Catherine Mary (Murphy) Foley

High Point – Catherine Mary Murphy Foley, 76, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from Hospice Home at High Point.

Catherine was born in Dunmanway, Co. Cork, Ireland on March 8, 1945 to the late John Murphy and Mary  Mc.Carthy Murphy. 

Catherine was a devout Catholic and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Willie Foley; her sons, William Foley of England, James Foley and wife, Amy of Raleigh; daughter, Chantelle Bogira and husband, Martyn of England; brother, Johnny Murphy of Ireland; sisters, Carmel Murphy of England, Ann Murphy of England, Cliona Brennan and husband, Joe of Northern Ireland, Margaret Murphy of England, Marie Duignan and husband, Padraig of Ireland, Imelda Tomalis of Florida and eight grandchildren.  She also has many dear friends who will miss her kind heart.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary at 4145 Johnson Street in High Point with Reverend Thomas Norris OSFS officiating.
