Charles Watson "Charlie' Bartley III

TRINITY- Charles Watson “Charlie” Bartley III, 59, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

He was born on October 27, 1962 in Bluefield, WV, a son of the late Charles Watson Bartley, Jr. and Margaret McClendon Bartley. He was a 1981 graduate of Bluefield High School and was awarded a golf scholarship at Bluefield College in Bluefield, VA, where he graduated in 1985. He worked for HSM Solutions of High Point. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, hunting and watching the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Orioles. His true love and passion was following his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers and if it was a sunny weekend you were sure to find him on a golf course with his friends. He was rock solid West Virginian who was compassionate, kind and loved his family dearly. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death was his sister, Sarah Wallace.

He is survived by his sons, Tucker and Graham Bartley; his brother, Michael Bartley and his wife, Wendy and the mother of his children, Pat Bartley.

A service to celebrate Charlie’s life will be held at Faith United Methodist Church in Indian Trail on Sunday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m.
