Charles "Charlie" Franklin Harris

Charles Franklin Harris passed away suddenly on Sunday October 10, 2021.  He was 30 years old.

Charlie lived all his life in High Point, North Carolina. He attended Westchester Country Day School from kindergarten through eighth grade when he transferred to High Point Central High School, where he graduated in 2009.  Charlie enjoyed baseball, basketball and scouting and later became passionate about music.  He loved playing the guitar and writing and composing his own music.  Charlie also saw the importance of exercise and physical fitness.  Working out was a stress reliever for him.  He enjoyed hiking, camping, snowboarding and skiing.

Charlies loved to read, mostly classics and biographies.  He had his favorite cult films and followed the career of several directors and producers.  At the time of his death, he was in his final semester at Guilford Technical Community College and would have graduated in December with a degree in Computer Science.  He was a Presidential Scholar each semester and his professors considered him gifted.

He had a kind and generous spirit and was a wonderful father to two and half year old Juniper Rose who lived with him. She meant everything to him and his world revolved around her.  Charlies was a playful, silly daddy and he was Juni’s favorite person in the whole world.

Charlie is survived by his loving parents, Charles and Martha Harris; his devoted sister Molly Harris and his precious daughter, Juniper Rose.  He is also survived by grandparents Frank and Rose Read and Grover Harris, all of Louisburg, North Carolina and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October, 25th at 1:30 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
