Cheryl (Crisson) Phillips

Mrs. Donna (Cheryl) Crisson Phillips, 61, resident of Archdale, died July 29, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Cheryl was born March 14, 1957 in Alamance County, a daughter to Donald and Sue Williams Crisson.  She was a resident of this area all her life, had worked in accounting and attended Hope Baptist Church.  Her husband, Perry Phillips Jr. preceded her in death in 2013.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded by her son, Matthew Phillips in 2016 and brother, Donald Crisson Jr., earlier this year.

Surviving are three daughters, Brandy Kress and husband Tony of Trinity, Jessica Wilson and husband Matt of Trinity and Cristin Phillips of Asheboro; a son, Zachary Phillips of Trinity; a sister, Laurie Dean of Trinity; six grandchildren, Nathan Phillips, Lydia Cook, Brayton Kress, Kyndal Cook, Matlyn Fields and Wyatt Wilson; a niece, Callie Perez of Texas; and a nephew, Corey Griffith of Trinity.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Steve McSwain officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale and other times at the home of her daughter, 9958 Archdale Rd. Trinity.  Memorials may be directed to the building fund at Hope Baptist Church, 4872 Old Edgar Rd. Sophia, N.C., 27350.
