Christina "Chrissie" Grimsley

ARCHDALE-Christina “Chrissie” Grimsley, 43, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021.

She was born on August 2, 1977 in Guilford County, a daughter of Wayne Singletary and Cindy Jarrell Parish. Chrissie enjoyed the outdoors; especially going to Ocean Isle, camping and kayaking. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and oma , and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal grandparents, Lester and Fredericka Jarrell.

She is survived by her children, Chloe Grimsley and her companion, Bricen Chandler, Bailey Grimsley and her fiancé, Dalton Whitt, Dakota Grimsley and his companion, Hannah Davenport; her mother, Cindy Jarrell Parrish. Also surviving are her brother, Joshua Parrish and his wife, Holly and her grandson, Greyson Whitt.

A service to celebrate Chrissie’s life will be held on Friday afternoon, April 23, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Rodney Byrd and Pastor J.R. Hughart officiating. Her family will receive friends on Friday, from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials in Chrissie’s memory may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
